چکیده
The direct tensile test (DTT) is the most recommended to determine behavior of fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC). However, this challenging perform. Several studies have investigated inverse analysis through simplified tests, such as bending test. This study deals with developing a new approach perform an for three-point (3PBT) involving FRC. A proposed methodology concerns carrying out procedure by parts. Initially, parameters that influence initial part stress–crack opening curve are adjusted. Progressively, other adjusted considering increment section. provides implemented algorithm more efficiency. strategy establishment criteria proposed. Its results compared experimental data from literature, whose steel (SFRC) tested characteristics present different attributes fibers, shape, and length. obtained curves in tension reasonable accuracy, indicating can be helpful characterization post-cracking FRC behavior.

Microplane Model M6f for Fiber Reinforced Concrete
The new microplane model M6f for fiber reinforced concrete features several improvements over the earlier versions: (i) An explicit volumetric-deviatoric split to no split transition formulation in tension which eliminates spurious contraction under tension that the earlier models suffered; (ii) tension-compression load cycles are now correctly simulated using the loading/unloading rules prescr...

Quasi Distributed OTDR Crack Sensor for Reinforced Concrete Structures
A quasi-distributed fiber optic sensor is developed for embedment in concrete structures. The sensor principles are simple, and therefore, practical for crack detection and deformation measurement in civil structural applications. The distributed sensor developed herein operates based on the intensity measurements of optical power. The sensor consists of a number of individual segments on one l...
